Mobile XE Menu Our research focuses on the development and application of novel functional biomaterials for treatment and diagnosing various diseases, based on an understanding of cell/blood-material interactions. We continuously challenge ourselves to find better and more robust solutions to solve current biomedical issues through use of smart polymeric biomaterials. In order to achieve our goals, we utilize a multidisciplinary approach by integrating expertise from engineering to medicine to develop state-of-the-art biomaterials. Finally, we strive to transfer our technologies to industries for final clinical development. Our research interests range from targeted drug delivery, biomimetic surface modification, tissue engineering to regenerative medicine.
